Arthritis is wear and tare on the joints, almost anyone can suffer with it to some degree.
But Rheumatoid Arthritis is Hereditary usually more women than men are affected by it and it also affects other organs in the body…..its not just wear and tare, the body actually starts to attack itself, the bones kinda become diseased and they crumble or get eaten away at plus you also get deposits on bone surface that cause disfigurement.

I believe that the latter causes disfigurement.
There are several different types of arthritis.
There is even one that is called venereal arthritis.
Yes, you can get it from unprotected sex.
Osteoarthritis affects the majority of adults to some degree after the age of 40 years old. It results in joint damage then the body reacts to this causing even more pain. Pain in joints is usually worse in the morning and after activity. Joints more often affected are hands and hips.
Rheumatoid Arthritis is a systemic autoimmune disease (not just affecting one joint). The cause is not fully understood. RA can affect any system in the body from the eyes to the heart.
Both have no cure and both can cause deformity and severe impact on one’s life.
