I was just reading my health book and I came across a statement that I have never heard of.

Why do some people use wearable magnets to treat arthritis and painful joints?

What is the purpose for wearing magnets?

And also, why do golfers (or not just golfers) wear copper bracelets?

What is the significance of wearing copper bracelets while golfing?
I was just curious as to why people do all of this as an alternative to paying for medications and what not.

i just got a magnet bracelet and my mom says they help with something but she can remember what? if you can help that would be great
wow first that is really rude! And second thinking in alternative medications is a good thing!

I have a moderate case of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and have been on pretty strong medications for it since I was 2 years old. I currently have a 3 1/2 month old and am breast feeding so I can not take any medication. I am in a lot of pain but do not want to sacrifice the breast feeding so I am looking for another option. Example: a special diet or anything???

Do they just test it at the office? Do they write down the last time the person took their medications? If they say the test was fine, do they still send it off for more testing? Why would a person have to initial the urine cup?

I have minor arthritis but it is totally in remission due to some medications I am taking. I told this to my recruiter and he said don't ask don't tell. It won't show up on the tests and all my military friends I ask say the same thing. But what happens if it flares up really bad or something only a few months in? Will I be totally kicked out and without a job?
I havn't lied yet or done anything

I can't take any nsaids to help relieve the pain for inflamation and arthritis. Because of my medications I already take, I was trying to find a external cream that might help.
