My girlfriend has been suffering with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis for most of her life and it just tears me apart to see her in so much pain. She takes medication for it but still never feels great. I feel so useless not being able to help her with the pain, I've asked her if I can help but she always says "its fine". Are there any ways I can really help her??
Thanks in advance.
By the way, we're both fifteen, if it helps at all.

My grandmother has arthritis in her hands and she takes medication, but it only helps to a certain extent.
I was wondering if there were any supplements or natural treatments that may help her?

I have a 9 year old Rottweiler (named Belle) who is having some trouble with arthritis. She is becoming more stiff as the nights get colder, I'm doing what I can for her. I let her sleep on my bed, and on the couch when she's in the living room. I am also giving her Bayer Asprin (I asked my vet about the appropriate dose), but she is still limping a bit through out the day. Is there anything else I can do the ease her arhritis pain without having to put her on a perscription medication?

I had a botched back surgery 12 years ago. I have been seeing a pain management specialist for 10 years and I have an implanted pump with a catheter that delivers medication directly into my spine in the area of the nerves that are damaged. I have completely lost the ability to have a life and I know that I need physical therapy and physchological counseling but in the small town I live in they are not available and I can't drive myself back and forth from the closest city. Any one know of a place in Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Tennesee, and other states close to these? These would be closest to home but I am willing to go anywhere necesssary. I need an inpatient program because I will be there alone. None of my family can rearrange things in order to be with me, but I need help now. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all.

I'm scheduled to have VATS surgery on my lung (bullectomy and pleurodesis) and on my diaphragm, and I think it will be a lot of pain, not to mention the chest tubes. So I'd really like to know how effective pain management is. Is it given intravenously, through epidural or through oral medication?

My 10 year old Rottweiler, Belle has arthritis that is getting pretty bad.
I don't want her on Rx medication because I've heard it can damage her liver, and other internal organs.
What are some of the best non prescription medications I can give try for her?
I already give her asprin, but it doesn't help her anymore.
