So my mom hands me this magnetic bracelet…?

Is it really supposed to do anything positive for me? I'm skeptical, but my mom really believes in stuff like this.
She says the magneticness of it is supposed to help me if I'm sore or stressed or something

As far as I know, there is no good evidence suggesting those bracelets have any health benefits whatsoever, but I think they’re also probably harmless. So you can wear it if you want to, but I doubt that it’ll help very much.

that stuff can work. its similar to acupuncture/acupressure. it has something to do with the metals in your body reacting to the magnets in the bracelet.
No dude, I swear this works, if you have a bad shoulder or bad back, you put this on, it doesn’t hurt any more. Don’t believe me, TRY IT. *I don’t think it works for legs or heads… they do have anklets and necklaces though.

im sry but i dont understand how that would work. I wouldnt play around with this b/c it can probably mess around with the way ur cells work and i dont think u should be messing with the electric charge of ur cells. if ur under stress best thing to do is exercise or/and deal it out. Please dont play with these stuff. I mean if ur doctor says its okay then thats another story, but be careful. Dont always go by the internet b/c these things can be just myths that u may not know about and can cause problems. GOOD LUCK!
I am an MD and I don’t care if it the science explains about how it works or not, but If it helps, that is fine. I cannot see it causing harm.
I personally don’t believe it will do much but I suggest, for the sake of family relations that you consider it.

A lot of people believe it "magnetic therapy". A lot of other people have made a lot of money off the first group of people.
In short, the only way it would help is if YOU believed it would work. That positive attitude would help your stress. Let your mom believe what she wants to believe. Wear the bracelet (if it’s not too ugly) and make her happy.
