You have a HARSH dress code. I think you should be able to wear both.. your just pushing it a bit. Bring extra clothes just in case you have to change.

Okay, considering that I know how heavily a dress code can be enforced, I would say that you can’t wear buffalo flannel shirts, black skinnies that aren’t denim, or get unnatural highlights.

Sorry to be a downer, but there are consequences. Annoying, I should know, but so true.

WOW your school it to concerned about dressing up.
I would leave this school cuz all i wear are skinny jeans.
The pants might be allowed but i dont think the shirt will be cuz they are flannel

WOAH, I can’t believe I just read all that.

I don’t know what a buffalo shirt is; but YOUR SCHOOL DOESN’T ALLOW JEANS? WHYYYY?

I live in Australia, so I have a school uniform and am actually glad after reading all that. MY school dress code is simple; wear the longsleeved white shirt with top button done up, wear the school tie, wear the black knee-hi socks, wear the black school jumper, wear the black and magenta school skirt at regulation length (between the knees and ankles). On casual clothes days, we can wear as much denim as we like and are allowed collar-less shirts and basically whatever we want as long as we don’t look slutty. We can wear cargo pants.
everything I wear would violate that. Do girls ALWAYS have to have a collar, also? Because I think that’s stupid. Women can have nice tops that aren’t collared or buttoned/zipped. But whatever.

I think that a flannel shirt doesn’t offend the dress code directly, but I personally would never wear one – and considering how "dressy" your schools dress code makes the requirements seem, a flannel shirt doesn’t exactly fit the picture.
And as for the pants, depends how tight they are…

AND, Why isn’t head to toe black permitted? they keep saying black is an acceptable solid colour, but don’t allow it to be worn together….

Wow that’s strict! I had a dress code sorta like in middle school but I don’t think it was that strict.

Well you know, Im sure that the teachers don’t have every rule memorized so i sure youre allowed to bend the rules a little.

I wouldn’t do the hair color though. My friend died his hair maroon one time, and it wasn’t even that unnatural a color, and they made him shave his head!

U have 1 tough,but very specific code.Anything outside of that code can get you sent home with points toward expulsion and that is a fact of life,do your parents agree with the code or would they be willing to transfer you to another school?I didn’t see anything about hair color,so you should be alright.
