Do those magnetic bracelets really DO anything?

I've heard some people say they actually do help with arthritis, or pains, well-being, etc, etc..they cost around -30 online, but I got mine at Piper's discount store for .59..I guess they were discount magnets or something..
If I put magnets in my shoes, will it keep me "grounded"? Or more "down-to-earth"?

I have worn magnetic bracelet during many years because I was suffering hypertension. But after I started to wear it, my hypertension disappeared. So, I could realize during twice, after my bracelet was missing, the hypertension appeared again.
However I’m sure either my hypertension is controled and my spine pain is reduced due I wear magnetic bracelet.
