Have you heard of those electromagnetic/magnetic bracelets? The ones that are used for alternative medicine. I was just wondering what kind of magnets they use.. Do reply!!!

I just purchased a magnetic bracelet from Trion:Z to see if it would help with joint stiffness and improve circulation. It says that women should not wear a magnetic bracelet if they are pregnant, but I can't find anything saying why or if it affects fertility as well. My wife and I are trying to get pregnant, should I not wear it? Does anyone have any experience witht this?
For my mothers job she has to pull off the plastic tabs on plastic bags because they seal shut. When you pull them off they magnetize to your fingers. Would a magnetic bracelet prevent this? Is there anything that could stop them from being magnetic to the hands?
