At what age do people normally begin developing arthritis? I ask this because lately I've been getting these odd pains in my fingers and wrist on my right hand. I'm only 15 but I love to crack my bones alot such as my neck, knuckles, wrists, etc. Could I have arthritis???

I have had a problem with my wrist now off and on for about 3 years. I've been to the drs, have had x-rays and nerve tests. All lead to nothing they say. No fratures, no arthritis, no carpel tunnel, no tedonitis, nothing. I've taken everything for the pain. Nothing has ever worked, not heat, not ice, nothing. I do alot of crocheting so the hand is acting up again, I took Tylenol Arthritis and no pain!!!! So is it possible that I could have Arthritis and not be properly diagnosed? Can it sometimes not be detected?

I think that my horse has arthritis in her back. What can I do to help ease the pain. Is there any rubs or anthing else I can do? Is it still okay to ride her?

If children cracked their joints, like knuckles, could they get arthritis at their age? I know you can really get it from genetics- but how about randomly? From cracking joints?

Hi,
Being new to sever Arthritis and being relatively young, I wonder if I would be better off living where there is very little cold weather as I am having a rough time of it up here in NJ, pain meds and all.
Any idea if it matters for the better that a person in my situation would be better off in a warmer place, or not?
THANKS!

The man had a commuted left patella fracture and supposedly he developed patellofemoral arthritis secondary to this injury. The doctor claims that he has chronic pain syndrome from it and prescribed him Percocet and Oxycontin. Is this proper? Aren't Percocet and Oxycontin too strong for arthritis of the knee? Would not Celebrex suffice?

I have a 5 year old 90 lb dog that has arthritis in his back legs. I was wondering what over-the-counter human medicine and dosage I can give him for the pain. I am not able to take him to the vet at this time. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

She limps from time to time, and she takes medication for her Arthritis. Right now she is having her leg iced, but I was wondering if there is anything else I can do to make things easier on her. She's rather bored lately, although she is 7 years old, she loved to play ball. Now, we don't like to let her run much because of her pain.
What are things I can do to play with her, without causing more pain on her leg? What are additional methods to lessen her pain?
Thank you!
